urz13 I think if we lose to Southampton then big wins (3-0 or 4-0) are needed against Palace and Forest in order to boost the goal difference and increase it over West Ham's. Then if they do win their last four an we also lose to Birmingham we can hopefully still finish ahead of them.

Maguire Why are you all so obsessed with West Ham? This petty-minded inferiority complex does my tree in.
They're just another team in the league. We beat them, move on. Who gives a rat's arse what they say?
And FWIW I don't see anything wrong in Gold's tweets. He's completely right to give out a positive message and if I were in West Ham's position i'd be saying/hoping/thinking exactly the same thing.

LUX Because for gd to come into it we have to lose a couple and they win a couple, other things being equal. If that happens their gd overtakes ours. Hence "effectively"
