Actually a penalty saved by Feds at the last breath of the match is somewhat a bit of a silver lining!

Nice end to the season - two great saves from Feds.

Clear your f/cking locker Church. Woeful.

I imagined us losing this one. Not too bothered. Pen save at the end made it sweeter!

i've defended him for here against the hordes for quite some time but unfortunately that is waning a bit now it has to be said.

He couldn't get a regular spot for us in the Championship.

We signed Roberts.

He may be a lovely lad and a royal through and through but I'm not Reading is the club he needs to be at next season.

If anything was confirmed by this game it was that we need more quality depth to the squad. Not gonna read too much into the result tho. A meaningless game other than players auditioning for a part in next year's squad.

Season long loan next year I reckon - no point in offloading him just in case we drop back down and need him...

blueroyals After today's performance: Church goes out on loan to league 1, Tabb released and no perm. deal for Connolly.

Connolly was poor today. Maybe it's good to have him as cb cover, but he's no right-back.

I doubt Connolly was fully fit, but as BMc gave him an hour to see if he is worth keeping shows he is probably rated higher (and offered a contract in the summer) than Afobe, Cywka and possibly Mullins.

Penalty save gave us the last laugh, which was nice!

For the first time in ages, I haven't given a toss about the result of a game.

+ 1.

I kept thinking/hoping he would come good soon, but today made me realise this probably won't happen in a Reading shirt.

Get Baseya in.
