My mistake. Must not of been listening properly.

Good to see Howard doing well. Was unlucky not to get more chances under McDermott.

Ugwu sounds like our Defoe, just wish they would play him more than just 20-30 minutes.

Started first two game, didn't do that much. He's very effective off the bench so I don't blame Johnson for starting him there.

LightwaterRoyal
Wuzzy87 Anderson apparently on loan from Southampton :|

He was talking about Lee Barnard.

2-2 Full time.
Andersen saved a penalty in the shootout. On another note Brian Howard had a great game, scored a fantastic goal and linked play really well.

Brian Howard shining at Div 1 level-no surprise because that is his standard.
Good experience for the keeper, not only by playing games but seeing how life is at a club that is skint and is now (having to)living within it's means.
Having now played at the lower levels he will probably really appreciate it when he gets a job higher up the scale.

tbf he was played out of position on the wing the first 2 games. When he's come off the bench he's been played up front and the results are obvious to see.

Was wondering why Lawson D'Ath wasn't on loan at a Champ/L1 club, but after the recent press the OS has been giving him, looks like he's a serious contender for Guthrie back-up.

It's because he's been injured, he'll be out on loan before long

Thanks for that. He's another example of Reading's development class.

Whats happened to Nick Arnold RB/RW
Been very impressed with him on a couple of occasions but then massively underwhelmed in a couple of games too.
Can we see him going out on loan.

He was on the bench for Charlton in the cup last season before it was called off for the riots.

It's been a hugely frustrating season so far for most of our loanees, with the exception of Andersen. Will round up this weekend's action on TTE on Tuesday but Obita can't get off the Portsmouth bench, Hector is in and out the side, MacDonald is back with us, Ugwu is injured while Sheppard and Williams have hardly got a kick at Accrington and Woking :| . Between them they've now combined for 2 goals in 23 games, while managing a whopping 11 starts in that time.

These loan spells are obviously all about learning and developing, so learning how to deal with being out of the team is important but even so it's a bit underwhelming how most of the players have been used/performed so far.

Exactly,

The Arsenal game would have been a great one for Obita to play in, going up against someone like Sagna. I'm fairly sure that they're actually able to recall these guys for U21 games under the youth development loan rules but given Obtia's getting in the squad for Pompy I suppose they wouldn't want him playing in case a winger gets crocked after 5 minutes the next day.

Hector very impressive I thought, still looks a little raw in terms of his decision making, but physically and technically he looks as good as any defender we have on our books.

Could well be a first team player within 3 years.
