Firstly, celebrations are overrated. Is scoring against us really worth a double-knee slide and w@nk in front of the East stand? I like the stiff upper lipped decorum of the 60s where you'd barely know anything had happened, judging by players' reactions.
Is it expected of players not to celebrate against former clubs? Well, no but in Long's case, I would've been surprised if he did (but wouldn't have a gripe if he wanted to, celebration depending) - given how close he is to McDermott et al.
