I would play a very strong team. Maybe rest/protect Kebe and Karacan, maybe give Andersen a go in goal, other than that, full strength. McDermott is right, a strong team helps maintain momentum.

SHORT AND CURLY Morrison and Roberts if fit should get a run out with Mcleary and Tabb involved. Perhaps Taylor in goal.

I don't think we should under estimate Crawley they will probably be up for it.

It's taken a sustained run of games for Feds to get his eye in. I wouldn't drop him unless he was injured or the return of McCarthy (and that bit's up to debate).

Use it as a chance to try a more attacking 4-5-1, encouraging the full-backs to get forward in support, and our wingers to press their defence a little more. Maybe 3 or 4 changes to the first-team but no more.

USA_Loyal_Royal no point in having a go at a cup run. we need all the rest we can get for staying in the prem. that in my eyes was part of the key to promotion last year, getting knocked out by stevenage early.

In recent years we have done better when we play regularly and done badly when we have had 2-week breaks.
There is a fixation about rest when most players turn out far less than they have ever done and players want to play every game so put out the first team and see how we do against a team that until recently looked as though they might be playing us next season in a league game.

We're not going to win the Cup and if we do go through and draw a big name in the next round I am quite frankly not interested in one of them putting another 4, 5, 6 or 7 or whatever past us again.

Early exit. Don't care. Don't need the distraction or injury risk.

I want the strongest team out there.

Firstly, were are learning to play 4-5-1, and need every chance we can to practice it.

Secondly, I think putting a weak team out effectively says it's OK to lose the game, and you don't want that attitude. Yes, we are unlikely to win the cup, but the confidence of winning a game or two will do us rather less harm the disappointment of losing to a team two divisions below us.

To those who say cup runs are a distraction, I'll just point out that most teams that get relegated don't have one. And allowing ourselves to go out of the cup in 2008 didn't do anything to halt our bad form, or keep us up.

Why aren't we going to win it? Some proper shit teams have made the final/ won it through a bit of luck!

And surely if we play the reserves we're more likely to get stuffed? We certainly can't go into a game not trying to win, not a healthy state for players to be in and won't help us at all for the league!

Confidence is the key factor in this. :|

the strongest team possible, we still need to 'establish' ourselves with the new format, no matter who the opposition is. Good timing to keep the momentum going.

USA_Loyal_Royal
windermere_royal ......................Feds.................

Cummings...Morrison...Pearce...Shorey

McCleary...Guthrie.....Karacan......HRK

....LeFondre....Hunt.........

That should be strong enough to beat Crawley

should be, doesnt mean it will...

If it isn't this squad needs an overhaul!
