Can we sell number 13?

Don't worry, when we go down, number 13 will want to stay in the Premier League, so will probably move on a free to Chelsea or United.

Royal91 Hopefully Brian will end up at some championship club so we can sell him McAnuff and L,wood.

Please let them go Adkins. What will the transfer fee received be? £5.99 and £3.49 respectively? They have both had their day so toddle pip time for them!

A lot of Reading fans really are mongs.

If you think Lwood and McAnuff will have the same impact next season you're deluded. Players get older, less hungry, lose ability, or simply fail to perform. They should be surplus to requirements next season. I'd happily have McAnuff in around the squad but Lwood needs to move on so we can get more energy in the midfield.

And other players don't.

What evidence do you have to prove that 2 players that were very good for us 12 months ago, one of whom has performed pretty well this season in the prem (currently 3rd in the HNA player of the season vote), will fail to perform next season in the championship?

My point was also highlighting the hilarious suggestion that they're worth "£5.99 and £3.49 respectively" and should be sold to direct competitors.

If Adkins wants to build a team capable of passing then lwood has to move on simple. McAnuff is 31 not getting younger, in my book we have better wingers in the squad and I don't think he's good enough adapt his game as a CM, but I would still have him in around the squad.

Hunt, Lwood, Harte and Tabb would be the ones I move on.

And realistically I would get in a LB, CB, CM, ST, AM

There's no evidence to indicate what a player will do next season. But teams when they get relegated need to freshen up the squad. I think its obvious the squad will need a rebuild.

Roberts is nobbled and out of contract this summer. You can't expect us to offer him a new deal when we can't be sure he will play again!

He was the difference last year and if he can get back to fitness he should start. If he is permanently 'nobbled' as you say then yes let him go. If not, we need his experience.

Massive loss to us this season.

And he's two years older. He wasn't a massive loss to us this season because in his few appearances he never even remotely looked like scoring. And we couldn't afford to play two up front with our atrocious midfield. Relying on an attack of a man in his mid 30s who hadn't scored 10 PL goals in a season for ages, a super sub, an immobile Russian, Noel Hunt and Simon Church was our big mistake.

Why the hell we didn't try and buy a striker in January I've no idea. Just like I've no idea why we bought a crocked midfielder and League One midfielder to solve the enormous glaring hole in our team. And the worst thing is the League One midfielder's been one of the few bright spots.
