If we could only keep one next season - who would you keep?

For me, as much as I love ALF, I would keep the Pog. His all round game is far better and ALF is a little too inconsistent in his form.

Question is not completely fair as I'm not sure I'd want to keep the Pog on current wages ..... but if cost is no objective, I'd definitely go for the Pog. Think he'd be immense in the Championship.

That's a tricky one....nope I can't choose. Think it would depend on who else we had up front as well. Think ALF would potentially have more appetite for the Championship and we're proabably more likely to play 4-4-2 and get our midfield pushing up more than this year so wouldn't necessarily need the holding up skills of the Pog. But equally I think the Pog has been under rated by many this year and if we learn to pass it more could be prolific....I don't know!!

100% ALF for me strikers should score goals and POG had had 5 all season probably with double the minutes and triple the wage bill! Get him out!

Pog without a doubt, love Alfie to bits, but his overall game doesn`t even come close to Pavel , no brainer for me, convinced he would be a 20+ man in the Championship

I know he hasn't been perfect but that's what he's been picked for when we've only played one up front, and it's not his fault we've not given him much to work with. On Sunday I think he showed a little bit of what he could have done for us all season, especially as with the little he's had the rest of this season he's probably not going to be at his peak.

we can all see what we want to see with the anti-pog blinkers on. his hold up play is better than any striker we have on the books. when played to his feet.

this. I think he's been very underrated this season. Get him a decent partner to play off (Hunt or maybe ALF although I'm not sure) and play more balls on the floor into the box and he'd get a load in the Championship.

wrt the OP they are different players - but Pog offers more.

ALF. He's got to be a lot cheaper in wages, we could flog Pog for about the same as ALF. There's not a huge amount of difference in quality between them. Although I do think Pog is better right now. ALF's more likely to be happy staying past January or into a second season without promotion as long as he's playing.

But I'd much rather keep both, play them in 4-4-2 and watch them get 35+ goals between them.

I don't want either.

Pogrebnyak won't stay and we don't want to have a team where Le Fondre starts. Give Pogrebnyak a free and sell LeFondre for a million, then spunk loads on a decent championship striker like Austin or somebody from abrouad.

Le Fondre for goals

Pogrebnyak for everything else.

I'd take Alfie.

Problem with Pog is that he just doesn't look like scoring at the moment. Granted he is good at holding the ball up (although he wins very few headers for a man of his size) but he needs more of a goal threat to justify his wages. Alfie I believe could be quite prolific in the Championship.

I couldnt help thinking that Le Fondre showed Adkins why he shouldnt pick him; The Pog's finishing was poor yesterday, but other than that he played well.

Alas I have now gone the whole season without seeing him actually score: I missed the West Ham game as I was ill, so just heard it on the radio, and it was an own goal v West Brom, not his.

The Pog would be an absolute beast in the Championship.

Alfie would still be good coming off the bench.

If I could only have one - it would be Pog. Just.

I'd normally go for ALF and I understand he wants to play but if i'm honest I'd choose POG because I think he will be immense in the championship, and I think we all saw more of him against QPR and he had a few shots and I think if we supply him with the ball next season he'd bang goals in for fun. So Pog 100% for me, there are also players who can replace ALF, Sharp/Austin/Rhodes. I'd love to keep ALF because in a 4-4-2 I think him and Pog would be unstoppable. But if I have to choose one, it's Pog.
