Pepe the Horseman
paddy20 Without revealing exactly, AZ signed him. I think, but I am not sure, Williams also, as he is a good mate of Drenthe

:| They didn't even know each other until they joined Reading.

That doesn't sound right - I thought they both played in Europe :?:

I went down to the open day today, met Drenthe at the signing and asked if he was fit to play and he said yes.

Make of that what you will.

Tokyo Sex Whale Drenthe doesn't care.

I think its more the fact Drenthe didn't want his picture with Simon Church.

Melonhead said in reply to my post.

what a daft thing to say, based on a daft reason.

I do not follow your reasoning melonhead, we are 5th in the league our performances I would say in general have been better than when Drenthe and Williams were playing.

The two players cost a fortune in wages, why keep them if the players who came up to the plate have done a great job and are probably on half the wages?

I think my comment was perfectly logical.

paddy20 As I understand it Drenthe or Williams were not Adkins choice. Now that AZ is not around he doesnt have any pressure to play them. Drenthe is a one trick pony and Williams is pretty lightweight. Adkins is simply choosing his best team. I'm sure injury is a comfortable way of saying not really in my plans. Just a pity he couldn't have handled the Kebe situation a bit better as I think had we kept him we be able to create more chances for the forwards.

And why/how do you understand that?

Without revealing exactly, AZ signed him. I think, but I am not sure, Williams also, as he is a good mate of Drenthe

When you say without revealing exactly, you mean, without telling us a bloody thing other than repeating what you've just made up. You sad attention seeking little plank.

Geekins Williams posted a video of him at Hogwood today so not even with the squad training...

He posted it on facebook too with the title "a couple more days.. then I'm back in Germany, playing for a decent side"

I don't remember saying that :?

The club wanted Drenthe but he failed three medicals so they rejected him, however AZ was desperate to have a big name signing that he decided to proceed nonetheless. So yes you are kind of correct.
