Playoff Dates

by McClearyChops » 01 Apr 2014 16:56

If we somehow make it in the playoffs these are the dates.

6th v 3rd 1st leg
3rd v 6th 2nd leg

5th v 4th 1st leg
4th v 5th 2nd leg

So probably a nice Sunday away 2nd leg

The way we are going lately I'd probably pay as much attention to the dates of the Royal Tournament as I have to these play-off details.

Do they even still do the Royal Tournament :?:

The final is on the 24th May. I doubt I will be in London that day, but if I am it would just be for the Green Man. No doubt we'd stuff it up again

Been thinking, that playing so badly at home, we will probably limp over the line, get to the playoffs, somehow make it to Wembley, and bloody win the whole thing.........

We smuggled a couple of cans into the Green Man garden, thank god. The one time I went to the bar it was a horror show.

I just bought a crate from the people selling cans so I didn't have to keep going up.

Sadly it finished in '99 mate. Well worth looking at the last Field Gun Crew run on utube though. As well as 'To The Limit and Beyond'.

At least half of any play off games would be away from home as well. If all went well it would be two thirds. 6th time lucky in the play-offs??

However if we managed to stay in play off zone could we get past QPR (draw & win this season), Derby (same), Wigan (lost at home, away to play)?

If we manage to keep in top 6 we would be most likely to avoid Wigan in the semis.

We'd have to hit a major turn around in form from where we are now. Not impossible but I wouldn't bet on it.
