Jesus man - when you're in a hole stop digging.

At an awards ceremony, Arrigo Sacchi says there are too many black players in youth teams which leaves Italy without dignity or pride.

if nothing else, he has resurrected this thread, which I feel he should be applauded for.

Lovely justification too, explaining that he couldn't be racist because he bought lots of black players. Nothing says I'm not racist more than buying black people and making them work for you....

Abhorrent behaviour Mr A.

However, you've not mentioned many of the decent Chelsea fans being tear gassed.

Who would have thought that a club so reticent to oppose racism on the pitch would attract fans like that?

It's all over Twitter and in the papers. Good to see you're on the ball.

Well, who'da thunk it - you and I don't have the same twitter feed, so it hasn't come up on mine. Also, I have a job, so don't have time to read a paper.

Chins up.

No mention of tear gas on the Beeb, m8. Probably mentioned on the Chelsea website though.

Found it on the Independent website. Report is littered with words such as 'reportedly' and 'claimed - no proof offered. Plus, if that's how they were acting on the tube..

It's the police's fault as that's what fans do.
