Where's the fun in that

How can you say "it doesn't matter that we lost - we had a good day out"

26-10-06 Me + 9 for the Torch

Should be there just before one I would imagine

What time everyone else getting there?

Me +1, plus another mate who i'm hoping to meet there.

Provisional plan is to be there about 2, but there's shitty engineering works going on, so that probably won't be the case.

Kent, not aware of any in London.

If you lot are planning on getting there about 1, may get there earlier.

If going to the pubs near the stadium then Wembley Park tube is by far the best option. The Reading allocated pubs are mostly nearest there, especially the Torch which is probably the furthest from the ground.

If you go to wembley stadium station from marylebone you will be nearest the stadium but not near the Reading allocated pubs except the Crystal club or whatever it's called.

If you go to wembley central tube you will in amongst the Gooner pubs and have a longer walk.

So, Wembley Park is a no brainer for me, choice of pubs nearby. The Premier Inn next door usually set up a bar in their car park so that might be an option. Then a walk a up Wembley way, which has to be done doesn't it?

No Fixed Abode So many nice places to drink in London and many of you are going to the Torch.

TBF, if people wanted to make the most of a day in London, they probably wouldn't be going to the football at all

17:20 ko - plenty of time to go to a few nice boozers away from Wembley.

Agreed

+1, I went to the large RFC alloc8ed pub for the Swansea game, it was awful. Collected my black market counterfeit tickets off of Dirk and moved on.
