Royal Rother He was offered more money at Fulham.

He decided to stay at Reading therefore it wasn't about the money.

What's difficult to understand about that? :|

If you choose to believe that. The more plausible suggestion is he agreed a deal but then wanted to increase the bonuses, which Fulham declined. He had little option but to return to Reading cap in hand. He's burned a lot of bridges here!

plausible? The article that made those claims got his agent's name wrong - and would have been leaked by Fulham in order to excuse their failure to land him.

The fact that two other managers have now turned them down makes me 99% sure it's bollocks. There's something other than finance making that job unattractive.

That's not me defending Clarke. I really couldn't give a shit whether he stays or goes. Just don't believe every article that gets published on some random blog.

Absolutely no guilt and practically tells the supporters to get over it, criticises them, moans about everyone still going on about the Fulham thing.

Way to endear yourself Steve

“Social media is a concept I don’t really understand. That people go on there and pour out their emotions online. I’m probably from a different generation."

Supporting the club's owners who have given him pretty much a free hand, decent backing in the transfer market and stood by him when things weren't going well is clearly another concept he doesn't really understand.

It's also increasingly looking like Championship football is a concept he doesn't really understand either.

You're too kind.

If it helps I'd play three in midfield, ban Williams from shooting give Hector a slap telling him he's not made it yet and not even consider starting Piazon. Oh and I'd personally check Al-Habsi's gloves aren't coated in butter.

I wouldn't mind if he did have his football shit together. But he can't even work out that you can replace an injured central midfielder with a fit central midfielder.

Putting it simply...yes!

He's a miserable cunt.

Where's the carefree, corporeal and spherical joy?

(For an example: Bobby Convey against Millwall, or Blakey stripping the Yam-Yams' defence apart up at Molinieux (sp.) in the same fixture sleeve...)

(Anyone with less than full passion for our club - then piss the fuck off, in my opinion.)

The problem is we have got quality players and a manager that just really doesn't know what he is doing and the quality players know that

It's a very simple concept isn't it? Why the oxf*rd can't these oxf*rd charlatans see it? Christ, he's 11 months into a 2½ year contract. It's hardly a oxf*rd prison sentence. To say he's only being professional in speaking to Fulham is worthy of a oxf*rd Corbynista! A total new meaning of the word professionalism which is exactly the oxf*rd opposite of its actual oxf*rd recognised meaning. It would have been oxf*rd professional you oxf*rd Scottish pcunt to have honoured your oxf*rd contract!! NOW oxf*rd OFF OUT OF OUR CLUB and don't even think about getting paid up for the remainder of your contract. You were perfectly happy to stiff it, so the boot's on the other foot you oxf*rd Scottish oxf*rd Charlatan.

Pretty spot on tbf.

If you're not going to support the team then don't bother turning up, don't need the moaning minnies negative attitude hurting the team the same way it has done in the last two games.

Well i missed Bolton, Leeds and Ipswich, but went to MK Dons, Charlton, Derby, Huddersfield, Middlesbrough and Brighton. So I'm 2/3/1 this season.

No one minds asipirations ABOVE Reading FC. We just expect a bit of commitment to the job someone's started and to not go sniffing around the first sideways move to come up when they've only got 30% into the first crack at their big project here.

I certainly also expect that if they do go sniffing around they actually sod off nastily and provide us with an entertaining new pantomime villain, rather than slink back to carry on doing a really rather poor to mediocre job on their project.

Fulham aren't a sideways step though other than in league position. The only thing they've not got that we do is a modern stadium.

Other than that they have a slightly stronger academy, they were a Premier League side for 13 years which is more than we've ever managed and they were in European competition not too long ago. I'd also hazard a guess that their owner has more money than our three owners combined.
