If you choose to believe that. The more plausible suggestion is he agreed a deal but then wanted to increase the bonuses, which Fulham declined. He had little option but to return to Reading cap in hand. He's burned a lot of bridges here!
plausible? The article that made those claims got his agent's name wrong - and would have been leaked by Fulham in order to excuse their failure to land him.
The fact that two other managers have now turned them down makes me 99% sure it's bollocks. There's something other than finance making that job unattractive.
