I only ask because, while they have thrown good money at us, perhaps they need better advice when selecting managers/senior board level people.

Hopefully our new CEO will help with this.

I 100% assumed it was someone who'd been here before, too over confident and cocky.

Lets just leave them be until they do something that gets them banned shall we? Good to see the usual poster ruining the thread with his detective skills though.

Not like Palace is miles from Kingston though

Assistant Manager (or was it just coach?) at Palace is probably a bit more demanding than part time coach at Wimbledon.

Could quite easily be flexible working to keep his hand in and stay busy to help out a local team while dealing with personal issues his role at Palace wouldn't allow for.

Not that he's the messiah and should be desperately sought back here.

You ever tried to drive anywhere in London during peak hours?

I drive from Twickenham to Wimbledon for work, takes 45-60 minutes for a 8 miles journey.

Just heard a rumour, which is probably not true, that Samuelson has applied to be our next CEO.

Can't think of anyone worse.

This is another bizarre obsession of the Reading supporters. Everyone appears to have a massive hard on for Steven Reid despite none of us actually knowing how involved or uninvolved he was at the club or what he actually did.

I'll see your Steven Reid and raise to Sal Bibbo.

Again nice bloke, met him a few times but he is a goalkeeper coach who happened to be here at a time we were a bit more successful. None of us have any knowledge of how instrumental he was but he is treated like this messiah figure.

With Bibbo, a conveyor belt of goalkeeping talent
Without Bibbo, not so much

Thank you so much Steve Clarke you alcoholic shambles

To all the people worshipping this Nicky Hammond bloke.

Is he the same Nicky Hammond that you were all slagging a few years ago and blaming for everything that went wrong?

Asking for a friend.

No. Most of us have always been very positive about Hammond, just the cretinous vocal minority who loved to shout "where's the money" and hate on Madejski that didn't like him.

This. Hammond will always be the Messiah in my book if only for getting £500k for Andy Hughes in the last year of his contract.

Had one dealing with Howe who couldn't even be bothered to reply to a fan of 55 years. Not for me
Few CEO's read their own post, never mind open it..... maybe your being a bit harsh on him when the problem might have been with one of his former underlings or the post/mail delivery system?

I'm not sure McDermott would fancy a 3rd crack of the whip, not after the way he was disposed of last time. However, I'd back him if he took it.
Is he a scout for Arsenal? - After his service at the club as scout, at the academy and manager I'd like to think we've always got a job open for him and Coppell in some capacity, even if it's only as a scouts.

If you work out the tune you must be really, really old :D

I can watch McCleary now Gourlay is gone,
I can see no reason to stay away.
Gone is the mad bastard that made us pay.
It's gonna be a bright, bright sun-shining day,

Me = old.

Like it - but frankly, "Tears on my pillow" would be more suitable for Reading, most seasons...
