Thoughts with Jimmy at having nothing to moan about. Totally ruined his evening.

That was certainly a lot more enjoyable than 90% of last season.

Plugging yourself into the mains is probably more enjoyable than 90% of last season though.

Spend all week wondering why I bother and then I go the game and remember why :)

Great win and a decent performance, esp last 30 mins

+1.
I have been a huge critic, but I thought Azeez did well today. I was made up for Vickers and I feel like I can finally forgive the Bolton fans for 1995. They were real class today and turned up in good numbers.

Bet the noisy Bolton cunts on the bus are not so mouthy on the way home.

Thought the Bolton fans on the whole were great. Good numbers for a long journey, made lots of noise and were respectful. One of the nicest bunch of fans we've encountered in years

Was a oxf*rd miserable women in Y20 screaming at 1871 after the Bolton goal, obviously blamed the protest for the goal almost immediately after it.

tidus_mi2 Nonsense, a loss is always a bad result, it's Bolton, not Barcelona. Draw would be okay, not excellent.

CountryRoyal Great to come from behind to win, and to hold on against one of the best teams in the division. Delighted.

Bolton's first team looked very strong at the back and upfront. Once they took their front men off, I don't think they really had anything. Those two caused Binden and Abbey huge problems because they were fairly quick and strong. So our two couldn't use their pace to get out of trouble when their positioning was suspect.

Then their back line tired and was mostly on yellows and we saw a bit more joy with our technically skillful and quick players.

Tim and Mick going on about how the first half was dreadful and the start of the second half worse. But I think we just didn't have enough presence in midfield and were chaotic at the back. I think when we were on the ball we looked dangerous all game. We just got sucker punched after the interruption and then lost our heads a bit.

I think our midfield needs some adjusting, possibly our overall shape. But if we can get our nose ahead in any game I fancy us.

Agree Tim and Mick were talking complete trash as usual ... they somehow didn't notice the shot by Azeez that hit the crossbar. At some point they said, it should 3:0 for Bolton ...

I thought we played ok in the first half. Certainly didn't deserve to be behind. A decent championship side might have scored 2 of those chances but their goal was well taken. Tight angle and he squeaked it in the far post.

Didn't create much but didn't get outplayed. We've looked good in every home game so far including Peterborough, it's away from home where we need to improve performances. We look a shell of that side on the road. We need to get an away win ASAP and I think we'll go on a winning run.

We really don't. We looked dreadful at Vale. But both Exeter and Cambridge were close games that could have gone either way.
