The clubs we supposedly fought off is encouraging. Plymouth, Orient, Barnsley. These are good L1 teams chasing him, and he chose us.

Lots of L1 clubs are/were after him (Plymouth, Barnsley, Orient), after 3 PL games, he spent last season on loan at Portsmouth (3 goals in 13 league apps) so has caught the eye of many. He’s also an Irish youth international having represented the country at all levels from u16 to u21. Sounds the part but obviously we won’t know, assuming he does sign, until about October (after a few games) if he’s a real deal or not. Let’s just hope he doesn’t end up like Dom Ballard.
