Brogue Right just been told this is confimred. 100% done 8) great signing

oxf*rd, even with his recent struggles that feels a very very good pickup. Wingers an obvious area for improvement atm but he feels like an absolute game changer to how we can attack

This is gonna upset some Twitter folk.

One question I'm curious about which I'll probably never know the answer to is how his wage compares to the squad following Hunt's comments.

I'd assume Wing, O'Connor, Pereira and Knibbs are the highest paid in the squad (or they deserve to be). I'm not sure Bowler's career to date justifies putting him on that level. I'd say 2nd tier in experienced and importance.

We’ll never guess salaries.
Yiadom as captain and senior pro will be well paid, Savage came from Man Utd so won’t have been on small money.

That was the most embarrassing saga ever. Think we offered something like 750k for him then he ended up going to Portsmouth for £1.2m despite agreeing to match Watford's asking price in the end

The most embarrassing thing about the whole Tommy Smith thing was Rodgers talking about him like he'd already signed when I don't think we ever had an offer accepted.

John Arlott would be most pleased at this signing.

Presume he would be seen as the replacement for the Knibbster.
