Franconian Royal FT, but there should be a straight red at full time for Bolton player

Ref bottled it.

Please stop playing Fraser everywhere but as a DM.

Please also get a striker who can at least run about and, just maybe, hold the ball up.

I hope Lane is fit for Wycombe.

Classic smash and grab to get a point, but you can’t polish a turd, we looked like a pub team most of the game , not clue looking at the players how it’s going to change. God help us if we lose Wing .

Brogue Elliott has changed the game.

don't suppose you could tell your insider to make Hunt play Elliott and Garcia from the start?

I’m actually at the training ground next week. Will see what I can do.

Deadline day signing?

MOM and Fraser (as the most forward midfielder) offer absolutely nothing. What’s happened to Savage, has he been replaced with a clone ?
Just the luckiest draw I’ve ever seen. Garcia shot was going in row Z until the defender took the sting off it and looped it over the keeper. He even just said in his interview he thought it was going over.
Delighted with the point but that is papering over the massive cracks.

Agree we were terrible but hopefully a lucky point kicks off the season. Garcia needs to pull his shorts up otherwise he’ll trip over.

The problem is wing. And it’s not his fault. But this all stems from Bindon and mbengue going. The pair of them were able to bring the ball out from the back. We’ve lost that now. Wing is playing far deeper this season because he is having to take the ball from the CB’s and bring it out. There is then too much of a gap between him and the CM. Which is causing pockets of space for the opposition to get into. Means wing can’t get the ball through to the CM so he had to go long all the time. Hopefully with Williams at the back ( who had an excellent game btw) and PoC to return he might be able to sit a bit higher up the pitch.

Frustratingly, amongst the best we've looked all season is when throwing the kitchen sink at it late on in desperation once we're already losing. Both times we've scored.

Attack from the off.

And Elliott can help knit together the midfield a bit more too. Agree 60 yard passes from CB is not particularly effective.

Sadly, I'd agree - MoM is the worst footballer I've ever seen to wear the shirt (and I've seen Brayson and O'Reilly) - we need an experianced striker that can hold the ball up at least!

Yep, Elliott/Doyle have the touch to come short for the ball, receive with a man touch tight, and lay off, or roll them. Then they're running into space, the team's moving forward and the oppos are backing off.
