Disagree with all the negativity on the draw - a tie against a struggling championship side who will be focussed on the league is a great result.

Interesting only 5 champ sides left compared to 11 from div 1/2.

Great chance to progress a long way.

I don’t now what that strongest team is at the moment. There is still some way to go before even Noel knows what that is. It isn’t a criticism or complaint, it is just where we are.

Agree. We've the makings of a solid squad, twenty odd players that can do the job, but working out who's best in which slot while keeping some semblance of balance ...

Hmm. Surely Wing fits that category. But if you mean from the bench, yeah - I see a lot of solid like-for-likes which is great. But maybe not a wild spark that you can’t wait to see come on. Perhaps that will come from our academy (such sparks tend to be weak enough not to start, but have the raw flair that makes them a good punt late game).

For now, happy enough with having the sort of depth that can maintain a performance.

Disagree. Wing has shown many times he can do it, and the ability is obviously there in the likes of Lane, Kyerewaa and Doyle; they're all just currently bedding in and getting up to fitness in Lane's case.

Yup, pretty much this. And, yes, if you take the two posts together, you'll see I'm pretty happy with the squad.

Only exception is that I also don't really see it from any of our academy players either. But that's a thought for another day.

Yes - they've very much put out second 11's in the cup to date, and with the break coming up they have only 2 games until then so will likely be towards the bottom still so may put out a second 11 again....but I guess if they spend more before the window closes their second 11 may be strong anyway.
