All change this season. 2 new step 6 teams are taking part New Bradwell St Peter and Kintbury Rangers.
It’s also all change for the 3 Football league clubs in the competition. Instead of MK Dons, Wycombe and Reading entering the competition at the QF stage, we now have MK Dons in round 1 and Wycombe in round 2. Only the Royals still enter at the QF stage.

The excitement is growing as tomorrow i’m heading North to see the opening match in this season’s competition
Buckingham v MK Dons should be a decent match.
Been to Buckingham once before but the B & B Cup match was postponed just before i got there
Hopefully i will be doing another 1st round match next Tuesday the 9th and AFC Aldermaston’s tie on the 10th.

As they are only a humble National League South side now, i reckon they might just be happy to play them.

The pro Academy far too good for the step 6 side despite going a goal behind on 7 mins they equalised on 10 mins. A penalty on 15 mins made it 2-1 with further goals on 45 and 45 + 1.
MK strolled the 2nd half and added a 5th on 73 mins.
In a really nice gesture MK Dons have waived their right to 50% of the gate money and have let Bhckingham keep it.

Sadly one W/O already happened in round 1. New Bradwell St Peter have pulled out ( unable to field a side) so Winslow Utd through to round 2.

Competitive game at Wokingham with the home team only starting to play when they were 3 nil down. Lot of hand-bags in the 2nd half.
Disappointed with the pitch- it was extremely dry and bumpy, but i suppose after the summer we have had understandable.
Off to Thatcham tonight to see AFC Aldermaston play Langley.
2nd round draw should be out on Friday at 2pm.
