Football Ground Map

by Clyde1998 » 15 Sep 2025 18:40

Anyone on this?

Noticed we've got the 33rd most fans on there (1,629) and the second highest in League One (behind Cardiff): https://www.footballgroundmap.com/stats/teams/england

I'd say that list is broadly reflective of how big sides are in England.

Can someone elaborate on how the fans figure for each club is derived as I’m pretty sure Utd have more than 8k supporters.

The number of members on the site who support each team. So there's 8,696 members on the site who say they support Man Utd; 7,600 who say they support Liverpool; etc.

 That explains the hundreds of teams with no fans at all

Yep, I'm on there - that's my "keep a record of the grounds you've been to" site of choice.

Reading supporter

Ranked #5,114 overall (top 3%)
#27 Reading fan (top 2%)

Cool. Just joined. Not a well travelled fan, only 18 of the current 92. But that's probably better than I'd have guessed at.

Decent number for a fan who hasn't really travelled much, particularly as that's the current 92.

I'm currently on 63 of the current 92; almost all are with Reading. Part of the reason I want us to have a Trophy run at some point, as it will hopefully take in some League Two grounds we've not played at (recently, at the very least).

Chelsea for a women's game simply to have an opportunity to go being the exception I can think of; tried to do Wimbledon twice that way, but one was iced-off by the time I'd got down there and another ended up clashing with a Reading game when I hadn't realised it was taking place on a bank holiday.

Can’t be bothered to go through inputting things into an app, although I have started using Futbology for upcoming games. I haven’t worked out how to just input grounds, and I can’t remember exactly when I saw Reading play at Mansfield !
Seen Reading on 110 grounds, been to a total of 164 and missing 19 of the current 92. It now finding it more interesting to find interesting non league grounds to visit.
