After 18 years, I’ve finally cleaned up all the banking drama and the wild tenant stories that came with my very first property. The time has come to pass it on to its next lucky owner.

This house holds so many memories…it was the first place I moved into after leaving my parents’ home, full of excitement, mistakes, and lessons. When I left Liverpool, I rented it out to a few tenants… one of them being my good old Dutch teammate Royston Drenthe. Let’s just say he gave “tenant from hell” a new meaning …he somehow forgot to pay rent during his Everton days and even decided to build a nightclub inside my house without permission. You can’t make this stuff up!

Can't remember where I heard this, but apparently Drenthe turned up to his first Reading training session with 'a group of women'. He certainly was something...

Harvey Knibbs
Tyler Bindon
Amadou Mbengue

For whatever reasons none started for their current sides.
Knibbs did come on as sub for a few minutes for Charlton which has happened quite regularly.

Knibbs did come on as sub for a few minutes for Charlton which has happened quite regularly.

To be fair: four of those five have gone up a division; Craig has been (or is) injured.

Mbengue has been starting for QPR this season and came off the bench for them at the weekend; Knibbs and Smith have regularly been coming off the bench. Bindon's gone to the strongest team on paper and is clearly not fancied by Wilder to start at the moment, but still getting in the matchday squad.

Confirmed as head coach. Says he’ll use his Soton, Reading, Sheffield and Hull experiences to draw inspiration from.

Zaragoza are in a tricky position though and are currently bottom of La Liga 2, the second tier of Spanish football, 5 points adrift.
