Royals and Racers I seem to remember Reading Buses struggling to get the buses earlier for all the regional buses to be available for a KO before 8pm.

That figures. I know the Newbury bus (F20) often doesn't get to the stadium until around 19:30 at best with out current crowds and that's without serious traffic problems.

At least it's a Saturday kick-off with this one and it makes sense for it to be on TV - being a local game. Good no other games have been chosen.

Eyes on Accrington Stanley vs Mansfield this weekend in the FA Cup. If Mansfield win then our match with them on Saturday, 10th January will be postponed. Still no date set either for the Wigan (A) match that was postponed last month.

Had a look and unfortunately we can't play Wigan on the 10th, if Mansfield win and Wigan lose their own tie. They're scheduled to have a league game against Plymouth (who are already out) that day.

Given we may well look to sign players early in Jan, then a week off may not be the worst thing ahead of the rest of the season.

This season feels very staccato to me. Have we had more internatinal breaks and stoppages than usual. Are well really nearly 40% throght the season!

I know we havent got going on the pitch but seems like forever between games. Maybe because the football has been so poor/mediore that none of it is partcularly memorable.

Hopefully, we can get a run of games going with some form of entertainmant as well.

Same international breaks as usual (4) and we played during one this season which was a first.

Feels stop/start as we are missing this weekend due to cup exit and a previous weekend game vs Stevenage was moved forward for Sky; this is also happening vs Luton in a couple of weeks.

I believe next season they are merging 2 of the autumn breaks which will mean 2 weekends off in a row if we have players selected.

Only one more International break this season, at the end of March (Wigan H).

Once we've got the rescheduled Luton H Thursday-night game out the way, we've only got the earlier Wycombe H KO on 14 Feb and rescheduled Wigan A match that will differ from the original schedule until the beginning of March. TV picks from then will be announced from early Feb.

That is correct, the September/October breaks have merged into one and will take place the last weekend of September and first weekend in October with 4 international matches scheduled in that time.

Wigan taken to ET by Barrow and needed an 89th minute equaliser to do it, if they lost that and Mansfield win then Reading could rearrange the Wigan visit for 10 Jan instead.

Swindon 4-0 Bolton

We couldn't because Wigan are scheduled to play Plymouth that day (who are already out).
