South Coast RoyalSouthDownsRoyal Having not seen the table in a while, things that surprised me.
Just how close it is at the top, I thought apart from Arsenal the others were further back.
Everton 5th![]()
Bournemouth dropped to 13th![]()
I’m no fan of Leeds but I like to see ‘established’ premier league teams get relegated so pleased to see they have picked up a few points.
I’d love West Ham to go down, Brentford and Fulham, I’ve nothing against but as a neutral seeing others being drawn into the mix would make it interesting.
Championship wise, Norwich really are in a spot of bother![]()
Pompey / Oxford happy to see either or both go
Everton in a false position-they will struggle to make the top half IMHO and what a dull side they are to watch.
As for Bournemouth they have only managed 2 points from the last 18 and some of the more realistic fans, rather than those who really did believe that they would qualify for Europe this season, are looking to their next home game v Burnley as a must win game to keep a healthy distance from the relegation places.
If Semenyo goes to the AFCON their goal threat diminishes greatly even if his recent record of 0 goals in 7 could mean that his suitors might not come calling in January.
Evanilson is a shadow of the player he was last season.
Correction-it looks as though Ghana haven't qualified for the AFCON so The Cherries will only have to worry about predators coming in for Semenyo in January by which time there may be enough daylight between them and the relegation places.
Having seen highlights of their flukey draw with Bournemouth and dreadful performance v Liverpool I thought West Ham looked certs for relegation but maybe not if they show as much commitment as they did yesterday v Brighton.
I would however much prefer to see them get relegated than Fulham or Brentford or even Leeds.
