From Despair To Where? windermereROYAL So, it`s gone very quiet, with Marriott and Keane on board do we really need him still here? no word from the club and I`d imagine Brighton aren`t too happy with him not getting game time.
I thought it was stated that Brighton refused to take him back because there was no interest from any other club to loan him back out. He's never going to get into their first team so there's no incentive for Brighton to recall him.
Yeah, with season long loans, we can't end it only Brighton can recall him. I'm sure conversations have been had and given we are likely paying some or all of his wage, Brighton aren't going to want to pay that for no reason (yes I know they will be relatively minted but why pay something you are not currently contractually obligated to) so he stays here, works hard and sees what happens.
He enters the last year of his Brighton deal this summer, so will almost undoubtedly be sold off or loaned then released at the end of it as he is very unlikely to ever hit PL level.
