Are you all so emotionally immature that you can't handle another adult smiling and clenching a fist in a celabratory gesture?

That has nothing to do with it. The stewards are there to protect the fans not incite them.

Was wearing a red Hummel cap. He was bang in line with my seat in Row H. If he did anything I didn't see it and I think a lot of people are over-reacting.

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking.

No pints at half time though - what was that all about?

Personally didn't see it, I was in G 84, but if what's been said is true, I think a contrite word with STAR is needed. These people are supposed to keep the crowd in order, and his alleged behaviour clearly isn't consistent with crowd control!

Personally I get incited merely seeing a steward, they don't necessarily have to grin at me.

From the look of the queues and lack of space behind the stand (and we complain about our concourses) I'd say this was a good thing. I fully expect most away games to be dry for RFC fans this season, seeing as will most likely take a good number to games.

Just in case there was any doubt, it was this bloke:

Sadly, I didn't realise that I would have to take a picture of his face, but the relevant people will be able to identify him properly because of his location.

Custard Cream He was provoking away fans in my opinion

Anyone who gets provoked by someone celebrating a goal and grinning is a utter bellend IMO.

Step forward Abonwhore (or whatever he was called).

Yea complete twat. Wasn't so much him celebrating the goal that pissed me off, at the end of the game a women crossed the line onto the advertising bit or something and he had a go at her, saying he would have to eject her from the ground himself if she didn't leave (when she was trying to leave anyway but there was a que). Tosser.

I thought there was something about not being able to employ people that support their own club for stewarding or am I getting it COMPLETELY wrong? I must have been in line or close to, but saw nothing.

Mate, you've got to be realistic, the interview question will be do you support x team, answer no. You've got the job! Hardly going to investigate who they support.

Home steward celebrates home goal shocker. As southbank said, anyone who feels enraged at someone celebrating a goal, however smugly, needs their head testing.

LOL - Spot on; Brighton are the best, those stewards who sit behind the goal at the shitdean on a £2.99 stool from B&Q in the rain and go bizerk when the Seagulls score
