Marcus Hahnemann 6. He's got better as the season has gone on for me but had a run of games where was 'shakey' at best, had we had a genuine class number 2 i think Marcus could and possibly should have lost his place.
Graeme Murty 7. Sadly but expectedly a stop start season for Murts but an excellent season when fit. He's risen to the challenge and not looked out of his depth against anyone.
Nicky Shorey 8. Superb. His wand of a left foot has been fantastic again and his defensive work has got better, been flawless for most of the season and was rightly voted at number 2 for POTY.
Steve Sidwell 7. Another who has fitted into the Premiership with ease, rarely had many poor games and is now off to pastures new. Shame from my point of view as he's been a massive part of why this team has done so well but all the best to you Steve. Thanks for the 4 years.
Ibrahima Sonko 7. Unfortunate again to be injured for a significant part but on the whole done very well. I think at times last season Sonko could redeem himself when he made a mistake but he was punished a few times this. He'll learn from that and be even better next season.
Brynjar Gunnarsson. 7. Never let us down in the numerous positions h's played and come up with some vital goals, very decent season from a very decent player.
Glen Little 6. Been injured again for a lot of the season and struggled to get his place back the first time. Don't think he was as effective as last season but that was always going to be very hard to follow. Little is a quality player and if he can stay fit will be an asset next season.
Leroy Lita 7. Poor start and looked out of his depth but responded magnificently. His general play has improved tenfold and his goal record is decent again.
Kevin Doyle 8. A brilliant 2 years for Kevin and he's been our talisman for this season. Goals with left foot, right foot and head show his quality as an all round striker. The best bargain in the history of British football and now moving onto the International scene, no one is surprised.
Stephen Hunt 7. Many will know he's not my favourite player but after being a squad player last season, and then the CHelsea incident he's shown a lot of character to bounce back and be an important member of our squad. Energetic and lively, but needs more end product to stay in the team next season.
John Oster 6. Bit part player, done ok when selected but i'd be surprised if Oster stays. saves his best performances for 10 minute sub cameo's!!
Dave Kitson 6. Again another of the long term injuries, Newcastle apart I don't think Kitson has quite been at his best either, next season is a big one for Dave to prove himself again.
James Harper 6.5 played a lot of games and has been an important part of the team. I'd like to see him take more repsonsibility and drive the team forward at times because he takes the easy ball too often. But a very good first season on the whole.
Ivar Ingimarsson 9. Fantastic. Big question marks were asked, is he quick enough? is he big enough? Yes and Yes. He's risen to the challenge, lead from the back and been sensational all season.
Bobby Convey 5. Injured, out of form, injured again. Big season next season for Bobby similar to Kitson.
Sam Sodje 4 Not done enough in the games he has played to warrant the signing, unsurprisingly playing in the CCC. Certain to leave.
Seol 7. Wonderful start, out of sorts in the middle and has finished strongly. You know what you get and what you don't get from Seol, but if your looking for the most creative midfielder in the squad and a genuine goal threat, look no further.
Andre Bikey 6. Has got better as the season has gone on and never let us down when selected. Rightly signed up and will get better and better.
Ulises De La Cruz 7. An excellent career recovery for De La. Written off as a figure of fun by a lot but he has done very well in his first season as a Reading player. Filled in at either full back position admirably and scored a great goal too v the RELEGATED Blades.
Shane Long 6. Been a bit part player, still believe next season he should go on loan and play 30 games at a good level, but got some good goals, has improved but needs to play more.
Greg Halford 6. 2 performances and i think shown a lot of promise, next season time to judge.
Michael Duberry 7 Apart from today he's been very very good since joining. Wasn't a fan of the signing at first but has fitted in seemlessly and has done a good job for us.
Adam Federici 7. Adam has come from nowhere to make himself number 2 at Reading and during the season has put in some excellent performances to show he's one for the future.
Steve Coppell 10. Has managed the team with integrity, tactical nouse and brilliance over the season. Has handled everything put to him (be it transfer rumours, lies from Chelsea, rubbish question etc) superbly, and IMO should be Manager of the year.
